Job Description

Chemical blending company in Fulton Industrial area seeks an intelligent, hard working self-starter to come in right away and help us in our manufacturing warehouse.

We seek someone who can do it all....the physical labor of filling and moving 55 to 70 lb buckets onto pallet stacks, as well as the ability to follow directions on how to properly label and pack the cartons to our customers' specifications. Most of our shipments are private labeled for our customers. Having knowledge of general computer skills as well as some knowledge of QuickBooks a plus. Flexability to shift to a different workstation at a moment's notice and working well with others is essential to work in our environment.

The primary tasks are chemical blending, and packaging. Included as well are palletizing and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring paperwork is proper on all shipments and scheduling LTL freight. Willingness to work hard, and learn, are the keys to the person who gets this job.

This position is a contract-to-perm position. You will start as a contractor, and if you demonstrate the proper performance and attitude, you will become a permanent employee over time.

There is a physical aspect to the job. At times, you will be working with 50+ lb buckets, perhaps for hours at a time and you must be comfortable working in an environment that involves dust.

Starting wage will be $20 per hour. Hours are 7am to 3pm Monday through Thursday. Opening position will be available beginning in early December.

Ability to regularly lift 55-70 lbs Ability to bend, twist and climb stairs Basic computer skills and knowledge of QuickBooks a plus Knowledge of scheduling LTL freight Manufacturing experience Forklift and pallet jack experience
