Overview

Seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate in Angola, IN. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of warehouse processes including receiving and shipping goods, making local deliveries, driving a forklift, and managing inventory.

Applicant must be able to lift at least 40 pounds, have a safe driving record with a valid driver's license, and have forklift experience (towing experience is a plus).

Responsibilities

The candidate will start their day by picking up inventory and returning it to the warehouse in a company vehicle. Approximately 2-3 hours driving each trip is required. Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record. They will also be receiving, storing, and distributing goods within the warehouse including unloading/loading containers of palleted goods. This candidate will assist with daily shipment of finished goods in collaboration with the shipping lead which includes learning inventory and shipping practices. Conduct regular inventory audits and manage inventory levels on the computer. Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, towing flat bed trailers and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday Schedule Full-Time Position 40 Hours a Week Weekends & Holidays Off Paid Vacation/Sick Days after 1 year

Skills

Proven experience in a warehouse role or similar position in shipping/receiving. Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and distribution center operations. Comfortable driving and loading goods. Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate forklifts safely. Able to take direction and work directly with management.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
