Position Overview:

The

Assembly Associate

is responsible for accurately assembling, packaging, labelling, and preparing balloon products for distribution. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow specific packaging and quantity requirements. The Assembly Associate supports production, order fulfillment, and quality standards to ensure all balloon products are prepared and shipped correctly.

Key Responsibilities

Balloon Folding & Packaging

Fold balloon products according to assigned bundle requirements and place them into the appropriate poly or latex packaging. Label all packaged balloons accurately based on product type and packaging standards. Seal poly and latex bags using approved methods and prepare packaged items for boxing.

Re-Packaging & Quantity Adjustments

Break down larger pre-packaged balloon quantities into smaller packages when required. Combine and re-bundle balloon sets using rubber bands to meet designated packaging formats. Re-box balloon packages and seal cartons for storage or shipment.

Order & Inventory Support

Sort and place packaged balloon items from the workshop into correct boxes. Pull and prepare orders for shipping, including sample orders for trade shows and events. Organize boxes for outbound shipments and ensure all items are accurately labeled prior to dispatch.

General Responsibilities

Follow all safety procedures, quality checks, and production guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area. Assist with additional assembly or warehouse tasks as needed by leadership.

Work Environment

This position operates in a warehouse/assembly setting and involves repetitive hand movements, standing, bending, and continuous packaging tasks throughout the shift.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific packaging instructions. Reliability in completing repetitive tasks with accuracy. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate lifting. Basic organizational and time-management skills.
