Job Duties (Will Include but Not Be Limited To)

Source vehicles to buy at wholesale and retail venues around the country Use logic and a sense of value while using multiple data points and assess values to make purchases Anticipate trends and changes within the retail and wholesale market Communicate current wholesale market conditions with team Communicate daily with management and buyers in order to execute stocking plans Participate in inventory planning process Inspect online descriptions of "for sale" cars for content and accuracy Participate in appraising of grounded lease cars Review 2nd look trade opportunities and unique potential purchases with the buy team Spend time in reconditioning and appraising trades to sharpen skillets Embrace and exhibit Walser CORE values All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Must have the ability to retain crucial information regarding the retail/wholesale vehicle market Must be able to make detailed financial decisions within strict timeframes Proven organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to multi-task, handle frequent interruptions and shifting priorities Demonstrated strong and effective oral and written communication skills Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
