Duties
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS or cashiering systems
Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Support host/host duties as needed during busy periods
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations
Ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities
Good understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in the food industry
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, and hospitality operations is highly desirable
Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
