Duties



Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving concerns professionally, and creating a memorable hospitality experience

Skills



Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and payment processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding menu items and food presentation Effective communication skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate cash handling and billing Previous host/host or serving experience is highly desirable to ensure smooth guest flow and seating arrangements
