Duties

Take and serve orders accurately using POS system Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met. Provide attentive guest service by answering questions, upselling menu items, and accommodating special requests. Buss tables, clear dishes, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment. Support host/host functions such as seating guests Uphold sanitation standards through proper cleaning and organization of workstations and dining areas. Assist in opening or closing duties as needed, including restocking supplies and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Skills

Experience with POS systems is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures within the food industry. Previous restaurant or food service experience, including asian or sushi dishes preferred. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales. Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy. Strong communication skills for guest relations and team collaboration. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
