We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and beverages to enhance the guest experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly. Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation standards in compliance with health department guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with fine dining or nightclub experience being a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests effectively. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding menu offerings. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective guest relations and teamwork within the restaurant environment. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
