Job Overview

As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels valued and attended to. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house staff will contribute to a seamless dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Process payments using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Toast POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service. Assist with setting up and breaking down tables for service as needed. Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences.

Skills

Previous experience as a server or in food service is preferred.

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or another is a plus. Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is beneficial. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of phone etiquette for taking reservations or answering inquiries. Strong guest relations skills to foster repeat business and positive experiences.
