Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to enhance their dining experience
Take accurate orders using POS systems ensuring efficient transaction processing
Assist with food preparation, food handling, and sanitation to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
Support food service operations by bussing tables, managing guest relations, and maintaining a clean dining area
Upsell menu items and openTable reservations to maximize sales opportunities and improve guest satisfaction
Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity during cashiering duties
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and uphold food safety protocols in a fast-paced environment
Skills
Extensive experience with POS systems
Proven culinary experience with a strong understanding of food preparation and food safety standards
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently
Strong sales acumen with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
Previous host/host or restaurant experience in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
Knowledge of OpenTable reservation system and guest relations best practices
Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
