Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Take orders accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all guest preferences are noted. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling. Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Manage guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and a positive attitude to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines. Assist with bussing tables and supporting host/host duties as needed during busy shifts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest relations through effective communication. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately; experience with cashiering is beneficial. Knowledge of food handling practices, culinary techniques, and safety regulations is essential for maintaining high standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues in delivering exceptional service.
