We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to help in becoming the beginning of our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong food service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using our point-of-sale system. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of service. Manage cash handling processes, including processing payments and handling cash register transactions. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Stay knowledgeable about menu items, specials, and wine pairings to effectively upsell to guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining settings. Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations. Experience with cash handling procedures and operating cash registers is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and sales techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus but not required. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
