Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills and have a passion for providing an exceptional experience. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that guests feel welcomed and well-cared for while enjoying their meals.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Present menus, provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, and assist guests in making selections. Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales opportunities. Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and ensure compliance throughout service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Utilize Toast POS system for order entry, payment processing, and tracking sales data efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a fast pace restaurant setting Strong understanding of culinary terminology and food safety practices. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and service excellence. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience. Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, particularly Toast POS Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs. A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues to create an enjoyable atmosphere for guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.66 - $17.00 per hour
