Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing exceptional guest relations from the moment they walk in Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales, utilizing knowledge of the menu and current promotions Manage tables effectively by bussing, resetting, and ensuring cleanliness to maintain a welcoming environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations, while adhering to POS procedures like OpenTable for reservations management

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience or food service background is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly between serving, bussing, and guest interactions Excellent communication skills for guest relations and team collaboration Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction accuracy; prior experience in food industry roles like host/host or serving is advantageous
