Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks in the kitchen as needed.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and drinks to customers while ensuring their satisfaction. Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as required. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Operate the POS system for order entry and payment processing. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance guest experience. Handle cash register transactions accurately.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices within the food industry. Experience with POS systems for order management and payment processing. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy shifts. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Basic sales skills to promote menu items effectively. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus. Experience in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas is beneficial. Previous experience in a nightclub or similar setting is advantageous but not required.
