Live Oak Pizza

is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional guest services and have experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and assisting with food preparation as needed.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using OpenTable or similar systems, ensuring all requests are noted. Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while maintaining attention to detail. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and daily specials to enhance the guest experience. Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to culinary standards and safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and other customer facing areas, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of orders. Perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and assist with check processing as needed.

Qualifications

Strong guest service skills with the ability to create memorable experiences for patrons. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively. Knowledge of culinary practices and food preparation techniques is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others on the team are essential traits for success in this role.
