Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Wait Assist with hosting experience (knowledge of Tock preferred) to join our team. As a crucial member of our front-of-house staff, you will support our servers to ensure smooth, efficient service and an excellent dining experience for our guests. This is one of the most important positions in the front of house. Without you our servers can't succeed at their jobs. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Server Team:

Assist servers with carrying food and drinks to tables, refilling water, clearing dishes, and resetting tables quickly and efficiently. Provide backup during peak service times.

Maintain Cleanliness:

Ensure that all dining areas, service stations, and common areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout your shift. Assist in maintaining a tidy and inviting atmosphere.

Guest Interaction:

Provide a welcoming and positive presence in the dining room. Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.

Bussing & Resetting Tables:

Quickly and efficiently bus tables, reset them with clean linens, silverware, and glassware, and ensure that tables are ready for the next seating.

Restocking & Preparation:

Assist in stocking server stations with necessary supplies such as napkins, glassware, and condiments. Ensure that the front-of-house is fully prepared for service.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service flow. Communicate effectively with servers and management to anticipate and address guest needs.

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

A strong sense of urgency

Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability are a must. Ability to lift and carry trays, reach, bend, and stand for long periods.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, mornings and weekends.
