Summary

The VP-Treasury position is responsible for supporting the EVP-Treasurer in forecasting the Company\xe2\x80\x99s balance sheet and net interest margin. Effective forecasting requires the ability to proactively gather information and leverage analytical tools to produce meaningful reporting and insights for management consumption.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do
  • Proactively communicate with business lines to gather latest projections which are aggregated for Company-wide forecasting.
  • Execute and modify the Forecasting/ALM models while ensuring work product/process is auditable, repeatable and transparent.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other Finance teams to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Ensure assumptions used within the model are current, reasonable and transparent.
  • Generate reporting for Corporate ALCO meetings and present insights to aid in strategic decision making.
  • Assist in the development of additional balance sheet strategies and scenarios as requested by senior management, ALCO, and the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Board.
  • Help the EVP-Treasurer coordinate and comply with regulatory exams, internal audits, and model validations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned associated with the company\xe2\x80\x99s business needs.
Knowledge/Skills/Background/Experience
  • Experience running ALM systems, preferably the Empyrean framework.
  • Familiarity with Planning / FP&A solutions, preferably Adaptive Planning.
  • Experience operating a Funds Transfer Pricing framework, a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
Qualifications/Attributes:
  • Ability to independently problem solve using analytical skills and articulate conclusions to an executive audience.
  • Demonstrated capability to adapt/apply theoretical concepts and solutions to real-life modeling processes and issues.
  • Ability to multitask on concurrent projects while meeting established deadlines and fulfilling management requests.
  • Display the appropriate interpersonal and communication skills; cooperate with both internal and external colleagues and clients.
  • Exhibit a passion for continuous learning, along with staying abreast of developments in the field of Treasury/Forecasting/Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk management.
Training/ Education/ Experience Required:
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred
  • 7 - 12 years of work experience in Treasury/Asset-Liability Management/FP&A
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • To be determined. Initial staffing support may be indirect with an expectation that could change to managing a team of 1-4 individuals.
