We are seeking a Delivery Vice President who has hands-on experience leading technology and business consulting projects for public sector transportation agencies. This candidate will be responsible for managing our portfolio of projects and ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to our clients and partners. This candidate will serve as a member of the Operations leadership team within the company. Responsibilities:
  • Leadership
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability and teamwork by developing and communicating individual and team metrics
  • Design, develop and implement processes that increase throughput, reduce cost, and/or improve quality for customers
  • Participate in the development of the annual strategic plan
  • Participate in professional organizations (WTS, APTA, etc.)
  • Portfolio Management
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction on all projects within the portfolio
  • Project Financial Management
  • Monthly Resource Utilization
  • Resource Management
  • Resource planning \xe2\x80\x93 Short Term (3 months) / Medium Term (3 Quarters)
  • Resource Assignments
  • Coach and develop team leaders
  • Professional Development
  • Develop Staffing Plan/ Hiring requirements
  • Propose resources for opportunities in the pipeline
  • Project Management/Consulting Services
  • Conduct billable work (up to 50% LOE) on selected projects that require senior leadership are and/or are consistent with the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s subject matter expertise.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with concentration in business, technology, communications, or engineering. A Master\'s degree in Transportation, Urban Planning, Business, Public Policy, Construction Management, Finance/Economics, or a related field is strongly desired.
  • 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience managing projects and portfolios in a professional services environment with public sector clients. PMP preferred.
  • Leadership experience managing professional service consultants
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to transition tasks quickly
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with key internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Ability to explain features, benefits, and technical aspects of the full-service line.
