Job Description

New England Hospice, a family-owned and mission-driven organization, is seeking a

Full-Time Volunteer Coordinator

to lead and grow our statewide volunteer program. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by connecting caring volunteers with patients and families receiving hospice care.

Responsibilities



Recruit, screen, and onboard new volunteers. Build partnerships with community groups, schools, and faith organizations to promote volunteer opportunities. Maintain accurate volunteer records, schedules, and documentation. Provide support and regular check-ins with volunteers. Plan volunteer recognition and appreciation events. Collaborate closely with the hospice team to align volunteer services with patient and family needs.

Qualifications



Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience in volunteer management, community outreach, or hospice preferred. Compassionate, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. Must be able to travel throughout Massachusetts as needed.
