Job Description

As a Volkswagen Service Writer you would play the critical role of being customer service liaison between our technician and customers. Responsibilities include scheduling, identifying, documenting, and selling service, maintenance, and repair service for customers.

Responsibilities

Working with customer and technician to identify and communicate required maintenance and necessary/suggestedservices. Keeping customers informed throughout the service process. Performing road test of customer vehicles. Offering additional services and repairs to customers. Calculating cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer. Estimating the cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs. Creating itemized estimates on service order and explains estimate to customer. Scheduling appointments with ccustomes. Maintaining Customer Satisfaction scores at or above designated standards. Meeting dealership's standards for repair/order production. Following Safeguards rules and regulations.

Customer service background with strong record of positive results Professional appearance Strong communication skills Computer skills required Organization skills Ability to multi-task is a must Work well under pressure Team-oriented CDK Knowledge - preferred but not required, training provided ASE Certification (C1) - nice to have but not required Valid driver's license with good driving record required Selected applicant must submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
