Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Infusion -Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Critical Care or ER experience as well as Home Health, particularly in infusion therapy, and will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients receiving intravenous treatments in their homes. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Home Base Location of the nurse: Fishers, Westfield, Carmel, Indianapolis, and Surrounding Areas.

Duties

Administer intravenous medications and fluids as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during infusion therapy and respond appropriately. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, medication administration, and self-care techniques. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as IntakeQ. Conduct assessments of patients' conditions, including vital signs and overall health status. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures during procedures. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills.

Skills

Proficiency in IV Skills. Sales skills. Strong skills with social media such as Facebook & Instagram. Strong knowledge of anatomy and patient care practices. Experience in critical care, ER, Home Health, or travel nursing is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

HOW MOBILE CONTRACT NURSES ARE COMPENSATED:

Compensation Structure is as follows:

$50 per client infused. $25 bonus per location. $25 per day the nurse is scheduled for call. 100% of all tips. 100% of any travel fee starting at $50.00 for travel over 1 hour from your home. Mustwork 1 weekend a month. Willing to drive up to 60 minutes for an appointment. Green IV Services patients Age 13+ and a minimum of 100 lbs.
