Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vision Systems Specialist to join our team. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance technologies, vision systems, and automation. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience with PLCs, HMIs, controls, and CMMS while driving improvements in system reliability, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of automated vision systems in a high-volume production environment. Provide technical leadership and training to maintenance and production teams. Maintain and improve PLC & HMI programs across Allen Bradley (RSLogix 500, Studio 5000), Omron (Sysmac Studio, CX Designer), and FactoryTalk platforms. Develop, configure, and maintain Keyence & Cognex vision systems to ensure product quality and process efficiency. Utilize CMMS for maintenance planning, documentation, and reliability tracking. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement process improvements and support new equipment installations. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Qualifications:



5+ years of industrial automation, maintenance, or controls experience, with a focus on vision systems. Strong knowledge of PLC & HMI systems: Allen Bradley (RSLogix 500, Studio 5000), Omron (Sysmac Studio, CX Designer), and FactoryTalk. Proficiency with Keyence & Cognex software platforms. Experience with CMMS for scheduling, planning, and reporting. Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams, troubleshooting complex systems, and driving continuous improvement. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:



Prior leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance or automation role. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems integration. Experience with data collection, reporting, and system analytics for predictive maintenance.
