Village of Beach Park - Finance Director
The Village of Beach Park, Illinois, is seeking a service-driven, strategic, and collaborative finance professional to serve as its next Finance Director.
Reporting to the Village Administrator, this individual will oversee all aspects of municipal finance, including accounting, budgeting, auditing, long-term financial planning, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of financial operations, including, forecasting, monthly reporting, utility billing, payroll, accounts payable and cash receipts.
• Manage audits, debt, and the Village's long-term financial planning.
• Manage financial systems and internal controls.
• Support strategic planning and interdepartmental collaboration.

Salary range is commensurate with experience, $88,586 to $153,150. Benefits include IMRF pension, medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, personal time, vacation time, sick time and voluntary participation in a deferred compensation program (457 plan).
Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree is required, and advanced certifications such as CPA or CPFO are preferred. At least five years of progressively responsible finance or accounting experience is also required, with municipal or public sector experience strongly preferred.
