Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and reliable Part-Time Videographer to capture, edit, and produce engaging video content for marketing, recruiting, training, and social media. This role is perfect for someone early in their videography career (entry to mid level) who is excited to learn, take direction, and grow their portfolio while contributing to a fast-moving trades organization.

You'll work closely with our Marketing and HR teams to bring our brand to life visually, highlighting technicians in the field, special projects, team events, and company culture.

Key Responsibilities

Capture high-quality video footage in the field, at customer-approved job sites, and during internal events Edit videos for social media, website content, recruiting ads, and training use Brainstorm and execute creative ideas that align with our brand and core values Manage and organize footage, audio, and project files Collaborate with Marketing and HR teams on campaign needs and timelines Ensure compliance with company safety protocols while filming around active job sites Deliver consistent, professional video content on agreed timelines Maintain company equipment and report any issues or needs

Qualifications

1-3 years of videography or content creation experience (professional or portfolio-based) Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.) Basic understanding of lighting, sound, and composition Ability to take creative direction and provide new ideas Strong attention to detail and organization Must be comfortable filming in various environments (outdoors, job sites, warehouse, office) Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

Experience creating short-form social media content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) Motion graphics or basic graphic design skills Photography experience Drone experience or Part 107 certification

Schedule & Compensation

Part-Time

(10-20 hours per week depending on project load) Flexible scheduling, with some fieldwork required during standard business hours Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunity for additional hours during campaigns, events, and busy seasons
