Overview


We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer/Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess strong technical skills in video production and editing. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create engaging video content that aligns with our brand's vision and goals. Videographer shall have a minimum of five years of experience in video journalism. They shall have a minimum of five years of experience and knowledge in coordination of strategic approaches to capture applicable activities; writing of broadcast scripts; editing of video to produce professional broadcast-ready products; lighting and shooting video of significant activities and interviews. Must have specialized experience and expertise to operate all necessary equipment and to create, write and edit products. This includes filming interviews, script development, and capturing b-roll for video packages as directing/guiding subject matter experts to ensure the best possible products. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Responsibilities



Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials. Collaborate with team members to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects. Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, to produce polished final products. Manage post-production processes such as color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics integration. Ensure all video content is completed on time and meets the quality standards set by the organization. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in videography and video editing. Assist in filming events or projects as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor on set.

Qualifications



At a minimum, a four-year degree in journalism or radio/television/film, along with excellent communication and organizational skills, and 5-10 years of specialized experience is required. Prior experience working with government agencies Strong experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects. Expertise in post-production processes, including sound design, color grading, and motion graphics creation. Experience with DMA, FCC, and NAB standards Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role. A portfolio showcasing previous work in videography or video editing is highly desirable. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
