Video Content Creator Intern - Summer 2026 (Raleigh, NC)

10-20 hours per week | April 2026 - September 2026

Paid Internship with Performance Bonuses + Potential Full-Time Offer

We're looking for someone with a true passion for creating viral video content -- someone who lives on TikTok, Reels, and YouTube, understands trends before they happen, and knows how to turn ideas into fast-moving, high-performing videos. The ideal candidate has the creative presence and on-camera confidence to potentially become a recognizable face of our brand, representing The Hybrid Geek through short-form, long-form, and behind-the-scenes content. We're also looking for someone with the leadership and storytelling ability of a future Content Director -- someone who can script ideas, guide others on what to say and how to say it, and help shape our entire creative direction as we scale nationwide.

What You'll Do

Film and edit short-form + long-form video content (3-5 videos per week) Shoot on-site at our Raleigh facility + occasional field content Research trends, sounds, memes, and hashtags in hybrid/EV/car culture Collaborate to script light humor, educational, or reaction-style content Capture behind-the-scenes footage of installs, packaging, and shop life Post content and analyze performance Suggest creative, data-driven ideas Contribute to our TikTok, Reels, and YouTube video strategy

Compensation

Hourly Pay: $12-$15 per hour

Views Bonus

10k views in 14 days - $25 per video 25k views in 21 days - $50 per video 50k views in 30 days - $100 per video 100k views in 30 days - $150 per video 250k views in 30 days - $300 per video 500k views in 30 days - $600 per video 1M views in 30 days - $1,500 per video
Likes Bonus

1,000 likes in 30 days - $15 per video
Follower Growth Bonus
