Job Summary

Royle Media (RM) is hiring a Vice President of Client Services to work in-person at their southeast Portland advertising and marketing agency. This senior level job requires managing clients, employees, jobs and budgets. The Vice President of Client Services works closely with the company president to run the business.

Ideal candidates are ambitious advertising, marketing and media experts with strong management experience. They must be creative, professional and enjoy working with clients. Working knowledge of both digital and traditional media is required.

The company president manages all the new biz development (sales) while the VP of Client Services focuses on client retention, upselling, deliverables and agency staffing. Agency experience is a plus.

The current VP of Client Services is retiring December 31, 2025, and a replacement needs to begin training in the first week of December.

Vice President of Client Services Duties

1. : Manage the day-to-day relationship with business owners and c-suite executives. The RM staff provides strong assistance.

2. : Prepare client strategies and proposals and pitch in-person or on video calls. The company President and VP of Strategy are heavily involved in developing strategies and pitching the business. (20% of time).

3. : Working with the RM team, the VP of Client services helps implement all projects through the Function Point agency management system.

4. : Working closely with the company's design, content and media staff, the VP of Client Services provides creative inspiration, design and layout input and reviews all deliverables for creative values and accuracy.

5. : Production and client services staff report to the VP of Client Services.

Requirements

Experience managing people and clients.

Digital advertising and marketing experience.

Traditional media experience.

Excellent writing and communication skills.

Ability to quickly learn and use new technology and online tools.

Good time management skills, work ethic, and ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines.

Strong organizational skills.

Positive team player.

Availability to work full time in the agency's southeast Portland, Oregon office. This is a hybrid position.

Availability to occasionally travel outside of Portland to meet with clients

Proficient with Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook applications.

Compensation and Benefits

Six-figure salary with management incentive bonuses.

After 90 days the employee can enroll in the company's healthcare benefits through Regence Blue Cross/Shield.

After one year the employee becomes eligible for the company's matching 401k plan.

Fifteen days of personal time off (PTO) per calendar year.

Company holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King's Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Indigenous People's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Compensation time off for working extra hours at special events.
