What You Will Be Doing:
The Vice President, Key Accounts is a strategic leadership role responsible for growing some of Health Monitor's largest Top 25 pharmaceutical clients. This person will develop deep relationships at the VP-level and above, understand client business needs, and expand revenue in meaningful ways. They will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and help shape the go-to-market strategy for the Key Accounts business unit. The role reports to the EVP of Key Accounts.
Take full ownership of key strategic enterprise accounts, specifically including Amgen, Genentech, and Johnson & Johnson, and drive organic growth across these major relationships.
Drive organic growth in key pharma accounts, targeting $1M+ per year, ideally $3M-$5M+ annually.
Build and communicate strong value propositions to top clients with high revenue potential.
Be an expert in pharma marketing and branding, and proactively identify opportunities across pharma companies and media agencies.
Stay informed on latest print and digital point-of-care (POC) products and trends.
Work consultatively with client stakeholders to understand goals, challenges, and opportunities.
Translate client needs into new business opportunities that expand Health Monitor's capabilities.
Identify risks early and provide actionable solutions.
Manage multiple projects, communicating progress clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
Anticipate client needs ("see around corners") and proactively plan.
Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews and select senior leadership meetings with visibility to the Senior Leadership Team and Gridiron Capital.
Experience You Will Need:
Direct experience managing and growing enterprise-level key accounts at major pharma companies -- specifically Amgen, Genentech, Johnson & Johnson, or similarly large organizations.
10+ years in B2B sales with experience in pharmaceutical branding/marketing and media agencies.
Strong hunter mindset with a proven record of uncovering and closing opportunities.
Self-starter, motivated, resourceful, entrepreneurial, and solution-oriented.
Proven track record of building and leveraging strategic relationships within pharma organizations to drive sustained revenue growth.
Growth mindset: committed to learning, persistence, and continuous improvement.
Leadership skills to guide and influence cross-functional teams.
Consistent history of successful performance and organic revenue growth of at least $1M+ per year.
Ability to plan and execute effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and executive presence when working with senior client stakeholders.
Excellent presentation and consultative selling skills aligned to pharma brand marketing plans.
High level of business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving ability.
