Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician/Assistant

Status:

Full-time

Salary:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour; negotiable and based on experience

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 7am - 5pm or 8am - 5:30pm

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

Critical thinking, curiosity, and a can-do attitude Excellent communication and teamwork skills A compassionate approach to patient and client care At least one year of hands-on experience with:

+ Jugular, cephalic, and saphenous blood draws
+ IV catheter placement and fluid therapy
+ Surgical assistance: intubation, prep, anesthesia monitoring, and post-op care
+ Calculating and administering anesthetics and medications
+ Taking quality radiographs (Cuattro HD DR digital)
+ Performing dental cleanings and dental radiographs
+ Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and delivering exceptional client service

Bonus Points If You Have:

Experience with Cornerstone software Familiarity with Heska blood analyzers Spanish fluency
