About New London Veterinary Center & Penn Animal Hospital
We are two great locations, one great team of happy, funny misfit toys. The New London Veterinary Center and Penn Animal Hospital have been part of Chester County, PA and Newark, DE communities forever......We purchased both practices in 2021 and have been having a lot of fun reinventing both locations over the past three years. While different buildings with different names, we operate as an integrated practice with two locations which enables better collaboration between doctors, better experiences for our patients and their families, and a better working environment for our awesome staff. Only 15 minutes apart, it offers all the benefits of the "big" practices while remaining small in "feel and experience" for our people and patients.
So what would your duties look like in this position? A Veterinary Technician/Assistant will divide their time between assisting the receptionists, helping doctors with physical examinations, dispensing medications, and helping veterinary technicians position patients for and process radiographs, prepare patients for surgery, provide nursing and comfort care, and perform treatments or basic laboratory diagnostic tests. We all (Doctors & Staff) work between our two locations 8 miles apart, one in Newark and one just up the road in West Grove, PA.
