Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Position Overview

The RVT will play a critical role in patient care, supporting veterinarians with medical procedures, diagnostics, anesthesia, and client education. This position is ideal for a motivated technician who values teamwork, professionalism, and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia patients Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, injections, and medication administration Conduct in-house laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging support Provide compassionate patient handling and safe restraint Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care Maintain accurate medical records and ensure hospital cleanliness and organization

Qualifications

Current

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in California

(required) Strong technical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and client service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
