We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to animals while assisting veterinarians in various procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of animal anatomy and veterinary terminology, along with hands-on experience in pet care and animal restraint. This position is essential in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, including X-rays Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed Monitor animal vital signs and provide critical care when necessary Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient Ensure a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques Provide education to pet owners regarding animal husbandry and care practices Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations or procedures Support the overall operation of the veterinary clinic by performing administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role is preferred Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy Familiarity with veterinary critical care practices is a plus Proficiency in aseptic technique and animal handling skills, especially dog handling Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing exceptional care
