About the Position

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate

Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)

to join our dedicated veterinary team. This is a full-time position for a credentialed technician who values high-quality medicine, teamwork, and excellent client care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to canine and feline patients Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments Perform and monitor anesthesia, including induction, maintenance, and recovery Obtain and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, fecal, cytology) Take and process digital radiographs Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Accurately maintain medical records Educate clients on preventive care, medications, and post-treatment instructions Maintain a clean, safe, and organized hospital environment Work collaboratively with veterinarians and support staff

Qualifications

Current Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) required

Previous clinical veterinary experience required

(minimum 2+ years preferred) Strong knowledge of anesthesia monitoring and patient care Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented mindset Proficiency with electronic medical records preferred
