Bean Veterinary Services is a small animal veterinary practice in Star, ID. We work to provide excellent client service and excellent veterinary care to dogs and cats.

We are looking to add a Veterinary Assistant/Client Service Representative to our team. The job requires communicating with clients by answering the phone, texting, and email. It also involves holding pets for exams and nail trims, keeping the clinic clean, and communicating with the team. You will be relied upon to assist the Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians in examinations and technician appointments. You need the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a smile. This job requires knowledge of routine tasks, including but not limited to, greeting clients, cleaning, laundry, sterilization of equipment, and assisting in restraining animals. This job requires a person who is team-oriented, reliable, and has the ability to help with day to day clinic operations.

Skills

Proven experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar position working with animals Current or former pet ownership is an advantage Excellent communication skills Reliable Ability to follow instructions properly Comfortable being around animals Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. lift up to 50 lbs) High school diploma
