Job Description

Part-time Receptionist/Client Service Representative.


Duties include, but are not limited to:


*Providing excellent customer service.
*Being attentive to clients.
*Identify and work compassionately with clients in various emotional states.
*Answer and triage phone calls from clients.
*Schedule appointments and procedures.
*Check out clients.
*Monitor client flow from check-in to check-out.
*Client call backs.
*Managing record requests from other hospitals and online pharmacies.
*Filling prescriptions.
*Monitoring and cleaning of reception area and nurses area.
*Process payment transactions.
Maintain proper documentation in the electronic medical record. Reconcile drawer at end of day.

. We are a family owned veterinary hospital. Client Service Representatives must possess good critical thinking and problem solving skills, compassion, a positive attitude, follow-through and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Punctuality is expected.

20 to 25 hours per week; possibility for full-time in the future. CalSavers 401(k) available. Sick time, Pet discounts for up to 5 of your own personal pets. Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug test.

Must have veterinary receptionist experience. 1 year recent experience preferred.
