Are you an animal lover who enjoys hands-on care and a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a dedicated
Kennel Attendant
to help care for our patients and boarders.
What You'll Do:
Provide daily care for dogs, cats, horses, cattle, and occasionally other animals: feeding, watering, walking, bathing, and monitoring their well-being.
Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming facilities, including kennels, runs, and common areas.
Assist with grooming, baths, nail trims, and basic animal handling.
Observe animals closely and report signs of illness, distress, or injury to veterinary staff.
Support team members and help create a positive, compassionate environment for pets and clients.
What We're Looking For:
Physical stamina: must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or move throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Compassion, patience, and gentle handling of animals.
Ability to work in a sometimes noisy environment with exposure to pet dander, chemicals, and wet/humid conditions.
