Eastside Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and hands-on

Client Service Representative (CSR)

who is comfortable working directly with both clients and their pets. This unique role blends front desk responsibilities with

active animal handling

and support in the clinical setting.

evening shifts (until 8pm)

Key Responsibilities

Welcome clients and pets warmly in person and by phone Schedule and confirm appointments Check clients in and out, process payments, and maintain accurate records

Assist with animal handling

, including:

+ Safely restraining pets for exams and procedures
+ Weighing animals and helping with patient flow between areas
+ Escorting pets to and from exam rooms
+ Comforting anxious pets and supporting staff during care
Monitor and clean reception and common areas Communicate clearly with clients and veterinary staff to ensure a smooth experience

What We're Looking For

Experience in a veterinary, kennel, or pet care setting is

highly preferred

Comfortable and confident in handling cats, dogs, and (occasionally) exotics Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to

follow direction independently

and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Friendly, team-oriented, and calm under pressure Eagerness to learn and grow in a veterinary support role
