Nixa Animal Hospital is currently hiring for a full or part time veterinary assistant or licensed veterinary technician (RVT) (35-40 hours) position.

Our practice is a fast paced, high quality small animal hospital providing personal and compassionate care to pets. We have the latest technology with Oncura ultrasound system, digital radiographs, EKG, in house lab, and fully computerized medical records system (Avimark).

The ideal candidate has experience in a veterinary hospital with excellent communication skills, professional appearance and a passion for working with pets. Applicants must be able to stand for extended periods of time, be able to lift 40 pounds unassisted and be accustomed to handling cats/dogs. A licensed veterinary technician is highly desired for this position.

Schedule is 4 weekdays (7:20 am to 5:30pm) and the first Saturday of the month (8am to 12pm). No holidays or other weekend hours required. Schedule is a set 4 day work week with only 6 Saturdays per year.
