VCA Northwest Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to share in our exciting, fast-paced environment. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have excellent client service and communication skills as we are a Client Centric practice.


We are a General and Urgent Care practice with two locations. Serving the community for over 40 years, we are known for the high-quality medicine we provide and the compassionate, professional culture we embody. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Venipuncture Catheter placement Radiology Anesthesia monitoring Physical examinations and patient assessment Surgical preparation and assisting Laboratory work Pharmacy Patient recovery Compassionate care for hospitalized patients

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have documented previous experience Flexibility in schedule Client Service Skills Working knowledge of computers Excellent communication skills Team player wiling to learn new techniques and methods
