Position Overview:

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will support doctors and technicians in delivering outstanding patient care. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment, enjoys working closely with animals and people, and is eager to grow their skills in veterinary medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with veterinarians and other teammates to ensure excellent patient outcomes Provide hands-on patient care in ER and ICU settings Restrain and handle patients safely and compassionately Maintain clean and organized treatment and hospital areas Monitor patients and report changes in conditions to the medical team Assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and emergency procedures Participate in maintaining hospital cleanliness and infection control standards

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of clinical experience required (preference for ER or specialty experience) Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask while staying detail oriented in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift 40 (forty) pounds unassisted Availability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays

Anticipated Schedule:

Second shift - exact schedule to be discussed during interview process

Every other weekend required

Compensation:

Competitive Compensation -

$18-24/hour
