As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to our veterinarians and ensuring the well-being of our animal patients. Duties: - Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures - Prepare and maintain examination rooms and surgical areas - Perform laboratory tests and analyze samples - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians - Provide assistance with animal restraint during procedures - Monitor vital signs of animals under the supervision of veterinarians - Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment - Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and medication administration - Assist with grooming, bathing, and basic pet hygiene - Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas Experience: - Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred - Knowledge of animal physiology, behavior, and basic veterinary procedures - Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment - Experience in dog training or pet grooming is a plus - Ability to perform animal catheterization and restraint techniques - Understanding of veterinary critical care practices - Proficient in maintaining aseptic technique during medical procedures If you are passionate about providing exceptional care to animals and are looking for an opportunity to grow in the veterinary field, we encourage you to apply. Job Type: Part-time
