Experienced Veterinary Assistant

to join our dedicated team and support our veterinarians in delivering compassionate, high-quality medical care to our beloved patients.

In this vital role, you'll bring comfort to our furry companions and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our clinic. Your experience in exam room procedures, client communication, and patient care will be key to helping us maintain a welcoming and professional environment for both pets and their people.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures Obtain medical histories and assist with exams and treatments Maintain accurate and detailed medical records Prepare surgical suites and patients for surgery Fill prescriptions and follow proper medication handling protocols Perform lab work and diagnostic imaging Provide attentive care to boarded and hospitalized pets, treating them like family Communicate with clients about care instructions, follow-ups, and general wellness Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment

Requirements:

Previous veterinary assistant experience required Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs Comfortable working on your feet and in a fast-paced setting Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented attitude

Expected Hours:

36-38 per week

Pay:

Pay range $16.00 to $18.00 (based on experience)

Schedule:
