Hawaii Veterinary Vision Care is a veterinary ophthalmology specialty practice dedicated to providing high-quality care for animals' eye health and offering specialized treatments and surgical care for a range of eye conditions. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional service and compassionate care to our patients and their owners.

We are seeking a full-time on-site candidate for a Veterinary Assistant / Technician to join our team. The Veterinary Assistant will work closely with our veterinarians to provide comprehensive care for animals' eye health. Responsibilities include assisting with examinations, performing diagnostic tests, providing anesthesia monitoring support, assisting with surgeries, data entry / record keeping and hospital cleaning. The Veterinary Assistant will also be responsible for client education and providing exceptional customer service. Assist on occasional travel to neighbor islands and after hours emergencies.

Animal Care and Restraint Skills Ability to work well in a team and with clients Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Veterinary technician experience is a plus
