full-time Veterinary Assistant

to our dedicated and compassionate team!

Schedule:

Full-time | 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift

Compensation:

$18-$24/hour (based on skill set and relevant hospital experience).

About the Role

As a key member of our

Patient Care Team

, you'll support our doctors and technicians in delivering exceptional medical care and an outstanding client experience.

This role requires a minimum of 9 months of hands-on experience in a veterinary hospital or clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Performing diagnostic procedures such as blood draws, fecal exams, and cytology preparation Placing IV catheters and administering medications via multiple routes Monitoring anesthesia and assisting with surgical preparation and recovery Assisting with dental cleanings and dental radiographs Supporting DVMs during exams and medical procedures Educating clients and providing clear discharge instructions Accurately documenting patient care in electronic medical records Supporting hospital workflow and patient comfort throughout the day
