Parker's Paws Animal Hospital is a fast-growing, six-doctor practice in West Nashville located right in between The Nations, Sylvan Park, and Belle Meade/West Meade. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to add to our amazing team to support our growth!


The right candidate should be customer-centered, and have a strong work ethic. Surgical assistant experience a plus! Responsibilities, but are not limited to:

Assist doctors and other vet assistants with appointments and procedures Administer necessary medication Collect lab samples such as fecal, urine and ear cytology's Restrain animals in a safe, efficient and compassionate way Document patient's information in Avimark Obtain accurate vital signs and weight Be able to communicate with clients in a professional and compassionate manner

Qualifications:

Experience working in a veterinary office a plus Must possess strong communication skills and have good judgement, a sense of urgency Must have good computer skills Must be able to physically and mentally be able to work in a fast and challenging environment Must be dependable, demonstrate strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn Need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs
