Independently owner Veterinary Hospital well established in the Jamul area. We primarily see companion animals (Canine/ Feline). We are well established in the Jamul area, and we have amazing clients. I am looking for someone that is interested in working in a tight niche environment and being a part of a "family" here. I have one golden rule- that somewhat mirrors the original golden rule: I require that everyone is treated with utmost respect and dignity, and that it is a safe work environment for everyone that works here. I don't put up with disrespect from anyone, and I stand behind my staff, and do not allow disrespect between these four walls. Period-end of story. That is the kind of culture I strive to aim for in this practice.

What I am looking for:

-I am looking for either a Vet Tech/ or Vet Tech Assistant (RVT a +++)

-I am looking for someone that has at least 2 least two years' experience (Preferably)

- Someone that is DCA Controlled Substance Permitted currently (Preferably)

I am looking for someone that has a real passion for what they do, and at the end of the day really cares about the animals that we oversee and treat. I can coach, train, and mentor individuals on a lot of areas, and bring them up to speed- but what I can't coach, train, or instill is a passion and caring at the end of the day. We do some really amazing work, and we are able to make such an important impact in the lives, health and wellbeing of our patients and clients- that is what it is about at the end of the day.

Description of hospital

Independently owner Veterinary Hospital well established in the Jamul area. We primarily see companion animals (Canine/ Feline). We are well established in the Jamul area, and we have amazing clients. The clinic is roughly about 10,000 SQFT- we have a full surgical surgery suite, x-ray, state-of-the-art equipment, Zoetis on-site pathology and testing capability, boarding facility, grooming suite, and on-site pharmacy.

We are in a growth period right now and we are growing this practice quickly. There is a ton of potential and opportunities for this clinic to grow and expand. Being independently owned- we tend to run more like a family, and try to have a tight niche team that works for us. There is potential for growth for employees as well.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
