We are a 2 Doctor practice seeking a Veterinary Assistant. Veterinary experience is ideal, but we will happily train an individual with an interest in the field, compassion for the animals, and genuine friendly persona. All our staff are cross-trained to fill roles throughout the day as necessary. Applicants shall be trained in all aspects of the hospital. Position is full-time. Salary based on experience in veterinary care.
Primary Duties:
General cleaning of hospital and kennels
Boarding maintenance; feeding, walking, medicating, bathing
Handling of dogs, cats, and pocket pets, and maintaining records of visits
Radiographs
Prescription refills
Preparation for surgery
Additional training will be provided for general reception work.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
