Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before ar purchase to verify quality and adherence to specifications
Examine vehicle components for damage, wear, or defects using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Assess auto body repairs, mechanical systems, and automotive service work for compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
Document inspection findings clearly in reports and communicate necessary repairs or adjustments to technicians or management
Perform vehicle maintenance checks including fluid levels, tire conditions, brake systems, and other critical components
Assist in auto restoration projects by inspecting parts, ensuring proper fitment, and verifying restoration quality
Utilize heavy lifting techniques safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment during inspections
Support auto repair teams by providing detailed feedback on repair quality and suggesting improvements for efficiency or safety
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or vehicle maintenance
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment used in auto body repair and automotive service
Prior mechanic experience or background in auto restoration is highly desirable
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment
Strong attention to detail with excellent observational skills to identify issues accurately
Good communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating with team members
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and inspect a variety of vehicle types and repair stages
Ase certified
