: Purchase or lease vehicles based on company needs. Growing businesses often require more fleet units to meet increasing demand and ensure efficient operations. Maintenance Oversight
: Schedule and manage regular maintenance and repairs.
Compliance Management
: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
Driver Training
: Implement safety training programs for drivers.
Routing and Dispatching
: Create efficient schedules and routes for drivers.
Safety Standards
: Promote and enforce safety protocols within the fleet.
Budgeting
: Develop and manage the fleet maintenance budget.
Cost Control
: Monitor and optimize operational costs, including fuel and maintenance expenses.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree
in logistics, transportation, or business administration is
required
Several
years of experience in fleet management
or a related field is
required
.
Leadership
: Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Organizational Skills
: Strong skills in managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Data Analysis
